As I passed the display unit of Stefano Bemer’s on San Frediano for my morning run I saw a tribute and a bunch of roses in his honour. Likewise at 10r Via dei Camaldoli where this young master and his apprentices created hand made shoes for clients from all over the world. A huge success story that hopefully will continue with his apprentices. We can thank Stefano Bemer for his dedication to artisanal techniques. He sadly passed away on July 28,2012. The world mourns the loss of this young talent.
