If you are in Florence this weekend you must visit ‘Artigianato e Palazzo’   a wonderful event at the Corsini Garden on Via della Scala 115, Firenze.
Apart from the incredible ancient garden of glorious lemon trees, beautiful flowers and loads of Turtles! you will want to buy everything that you see when you visit the spectacular artisanal stands.
You will see Italian Artisans  showcasing there real ‘Made in Italy’ beautiful and unique products! That include accessories, home ware, food stands, paper making and more!
I began from the entry of the Villa and made my way through all of the areas in the Garden! here is what I experienced!

Foglia – Home Design – Jewels – Fashion:  Based in Florence here you will see a number of designs including the wonderful sea creatures made out of Sterling silver
Piedàterre – These hand made slippers in beautiful colours are made by groups of Fruilian Women. There flagship store is at the foot of the Rialto Bridge and when you see their designs you will understand why. Such unique originally peasant style slippers the soles are made with recycled bicycle tyres!
Bottega Conticelli – The very handsome Stefano Conticelli is the inventor of ‘Cuoio – Ubriaco’ meaning ‘Drunk – Leather’ the leather is soaked in wine for 28 days. It is then used to create the most gorgeous accessories and products.  See Stefano’s designs including the cover for a 1960’s Vespa! ready for a day in the country side with Picnic bags and wine pockets. This beautiful bordeaux leather looks divine!
Danieli – I could not resist the stand of freshly made Taralli – a local snack from Puglia. You do have to be careful at this stand as usual you ask for 400grams and end up with 1kg!! the owner is a little cheeky and I could not resist to buy every flavour!
Associazione Trisomia 21 Onlus – An association for Down syndrome people. There stand includes a beautiful display of product made by the association together with Down syndrome artists. Items includes silk scarves, bags and other accessories
Mani- Do you know how many wonderful producers of chocolate & desserts there are in and around the beautiful town of Pistoia? This gelato maker is from the delightful town and makes a selection of incredible flavours I tried Sage with Chocolate Sorbet OH mY Delizioso!!
Fabriano – A wonderful display showing how cotton paper is made at the oldest paper makers in the world! 1234 can you believe it! you can also get a 20% discount of products on display.
Pasticerria Don Gino –  You will not be able to resist a slice of cassata or freshly made cannoli at the stand of Don Pino. There Marzipan is truly a work of art!
Lorenzo Villoresi –  You will not be able to resist the selection of wonderful soaps, candles and perfumes at Villoresi’s stand one of the best perfume makers in the world and of course Florentine! The price of the product is on sale this is a one time opportunity to purchase incredible products at a discounted price.
Ceramica Polli –  This contemporary ceramic artist from Pietra santa has a wonderful selection of sculpture and vases on display.
Elisabetta Canzoneri –  Beautiful Accessories hand made in Sardegna. See Sardinian ladies making the products at the stand. Refined and delicate lace and woven products.
