The cottage includes a large living space with full equipped kitchen, Indoor and outdoor dining tables with eight chairs, large indoor and outdoor couches. All amenities are state of the art and designed to perfection by a Florence Architect and Roman Interior Designer. With air conditioning, floor heating, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, wine cellar, wifi, a safe in every bedroom, bose music system in each room and outdoors, full automated black out blinds, security entry door and terraces on each floor

There are a total of three floors and a basement. The first floor includes the Living space. An Elevator take you to the second floor to arrive at two double bedrooms with two ensuite bathrooms and private terraces. On the third floor you arrive at the third bedroom with private balcony, ensuite bathroom and look out view of Florence In the Basement you will find the wine cellar and laundry room

DAY 1 – SATURDAY  ARRIVE IN FLORENCE
After you have exited customs and collected your luggage you will meet English speaking driver at the arrivals lounge. Transfer to Casa Karina where you will be welcomed to your home for the next week and settle in your rooms.

DAY 2 – SUNDAY – ORIENTATION WALKING TOUR AND ACADEMIA
After breakfast meet expert guide for an orientation tour. Enjoy a pleasant walk around the historical centre with your expert guide. Your tour will begin from the district of San Niccolo. Enjoy a walk over the Ponte alle Grazie Bridge to see a spectacular view of the Ponte Vecchio. Enjoy a walk around the district of Santa Croce. Arrive a the Palazzo Vecchio enter inside the town hall to view the historical map room. Continue toward the Cathedral Complex where your guide will talk about its façade along with Brunelleschi’s architectural masterpiece the Dome. Arrive at the Academia Gallery where you will enter with out having to wait in line. Tour the gallery with your expert guide, view masterpiece sculptors by ‘Michelangelo’ including the glorious David.

DAY 3 – MONDAY  – GOURMET FLORENCE FOODIES
Enjoy the morning to relax and lunch at your leisure. Meet expert guide in the afternoon for a fun and informative tour around the city centre to visit the best local food stores and off the beaten track places. Learn about the history of Florentine and regional cuisine as we walk down small alleys and in local suburbs to visit bakeries, Nobile palaces, wine bars, specialty truffle, chocolate shops and more! Enjoy a tasting of Balsamic Vinegar at an Olive Oil Boutique where you will also get an insight on how to select the best EVO. Get to know the best local food stores, restaurants and wine bars. Other tastings include ‘the best gelato in town!’ along with a glass of Chianti Classico and selected focaccia bread.

DAY 4 – TUESDAY  – EVENING UFFIZI WALKING TOUR AND APERITIVO
The Uffizi offers an unrivalled opportunity to see some of the greatest works of the
Renaissance including masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci and Botticelli. Guests won’t have to wait in line, but will enter with a reservation and tour the gallery’s treasures with the help of an expert guide. After the tour enjoy an aperitivo on the terrace of the Gallery with incredible views of the Piazza della Signoria.

DAY 5 – WEDNESDAY  – CHIANTI HILL TOWNS & SAN GIMIGNANO
Meet chauffeur driver and guide at your accommodations for a full day in Chianti. Take the Chiantigiana – the ‘Old Chianti Road’ to arrive at the picture perfect hamlet of Montefiorale enjoy a stroll through tiny alleyways and discover the town where Amerigo Vespucci was born. Stop at a local chianti winery and producer of Extra Virgin Olive Oil for tour and tasting. Continue to Greve in Chianti for free time to visit the artisanal stores around the main square. We will meet back at an ancient Butchers to enjoy a walk through the cheese and salumeria to see their selection of delicious produce.  Continue toward panzano in Chianti. We will stop in to Dario Cecchini’s butchers for a taste of typical produce and a look at his incredible store. The artisan of the ‘Chiana Beef’ the ancient breed found in Tuscany. Arrive at a local trattoria that overlooks the immaculate Tuscan landscape. Enjoy lunch at the boutique family run winery. After lunch Arrive at the medieval town of San Gimignano. You will have free time to visit the main squares of this architectural marvel where you will see multiple towers once owned by Noble families. See a selection of artisans selling their local products, stroll down the winding streets for spectacular views of the valley. Continue back to Florence to view the look out point of Piazzale Michelangelo before arriving at your property.

DAY 6 – THURSDAY PITTI PALACE & BOBOLI GARDENS
Enjoy a walk to the Pitti Palace. You will see the private corridor as you walk over the bridge that is 800m long leading directly to the last home of the Medici. Enter inside to see this architectural marvel that dates back to 1458 originally the town residence of Luca Pitti. Enjoy a tour of the entire first floor of the palace that includes the Palatine gallery and the Royal Apartments.
Continue in to the Boboli Gardens. That were originally designed for the Medici and are one of the earliest examples of the Italian Gardens which later inspired those of many European courts. The gardens extend over a vast area forming an open-air museum with antique and Renaissance statues, grottoes and large fountains. Exploring its numerous and varied walks one is able to evoke the spirit of life at court and to enjoy the experience of a garden which continues to renew its natural cycle in keeping with the tradition of its past. You may decide to remain in the gardens after the tour

DAY 7 – FRIDAY  – SIENA
Meet your english speaking driver at your accommodations. Enjoy a drive to the medieval hill town of Siena. Meet your expert guide in front of the church of San Domenico. You will enter inside to see the relics of St Catherine the patron saint of Siena. Continue on the main medieval road toward the Piazza del Campo. Take the road called ‘Banca di Sopra’ where you will see Nobile palaces of important Sienese families from the middle ages. Make your way to the stunning Piazza del Campo where the great horse race ‘il Palio’ has been held every year since the dark ages. Continue to the Duomo & Baptistery complex to view a collection of works of art by Michelangelo, Donatello and Bernini. Have lunch at a local restaurant in the historical centre. After lunch transfer back to Florence
